Sri.S.Jagadeeswara Reddy is a native Bethamcherla village, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh, born in the year 1957, completed his graduation in B.Com at Osmania College, Kurnool. Post which he entered into his family business which was started by his father Late.S.Venugopala Reddy in the name of "Sri Mallikarjuna Mining Co" in the year 1966. They were the Mine owners of Soap stone. It is a rare mineral available in few states of India like Udaipur in Rajasthan and Bethamcherla & Tadipatri towns in Andhra Pradesh. After the soapstone is pulverized into talcom powder, it becomes an an essential raw material to paper and soap manufacturing industries.
After his entry into Mining business, using hi dynamic ideas and latest technology, he increased the industrial production substantially and expanded his client base across South India like AP Papermill Limted-Rajamundry, Tamil Nadu News Paper Ltd (TNPL), Mysore Paper Mills Ltd-Karnataka, Hindustan News Print Ltd-Kerala and many soap industries. Because of his efforts, his company became one of the leading producers and suppliers of soap stone powder in South India. At present, his family members in A.P are maintaining this business.
With over 18 years (1978 - 1995) of successful experience in the Mining business and his passion for township development, Mr.Reddy ventured into the field of realesate in the year 1995. With his rich experience in running a business, he was able to build a dedicated, trustworthy and loyal group of employees to support his real estate ventures in South Bangalore. During the times when majority of the land developers used to form residential layouts with 14ft & 20ft wide roads, he started developing layouts with 50ft and 60ft main roads, 30ft & 40ft cross roads with parks and amenities as per BMRDA norms while the BMRDA was not active. During those years (1995 - 1999), he developed plotted townships offering over 3000 sites (30x40 units) at an affordable price payable in installments to cater to lower and middle income group purchasers, when the software industry had not developed much in Bangalore. Clientele were from various other sectors including manufacturing, retail, pharma, textile and Government employees in nearby cities of A.P and Karnataka.
In early 2000's when software industry started in full swing, he developed large townships with 80ft wide main roads as per BMRDA specification. We are proud to say that we were the first developers in Bangalore Metropolitan region to develop projects with 80ft wide main roads near Electronic City - JR Gardens and near Whitefield-Hoskote - JR City. Later on, in the year 2012, we also developed project with 150ft wide main roads next to KHB Suryanagar near Electronic City i.e, JR Urbania. Whoever purchased the plots in early 2000's in projects like JR Greenpark and JR City have got an appreciation of about 20 to 25 times today.
In continuation of the above, the real estate operations were consolidated to form a new company “JR Housing Developers Pvt Ltd” in the year 2004 to cater to indepdendent villas and villa plots with all modern sporting amenities and club facilities with it's office headquarters at Marathahalli, O.R.R, Bangalore. Some of the projects like JR Greenpark on Chandapura-Anekal road, JR Greenwich on Sarjapur Road, JR Valley near Whitefield-Hoskote, developed by the company have become landmark ventures today, embraced by residents in these communities. JR Housing has been very customer centric in developing these projects, supported by well trained team in each sphere of its business operations, be it finance, accounting, engineering, architecture, layout development, construction, quality management, in house marketing & sales, front office and back office operations. In the process of growth and change, the company has created a brand name that stands for reliability, integrity, trustworthy, high professional ethics and maintaining long-lasting customer relationships.
Mr.Reddy's moto in this business is to develop sustainable and ecofriendly townships with wider roads to avoid congestions in future, plant more trees to protect the environment, provide better facilities that add significant value to the buyers and most importantly give back more to the villages by way of charity. He constructed a full fledged school at Marasur village and handed it over to the Government, he also constructed extra class rooms in several other Government run schools.
Now, the company is coming up with huge project near Whitefield spread over 150 acres and plotted project in Mysore spread over 15 acres. Even today, JR Housing group stands in first position for obtaining maximum number of layout approvals in Bangalore Metropolitan region and having developed over 450 acres of projects already.
With his grand vision of how these townships would later develop into communities, quality & built to last infrastructure was provided in every project which is appreciated by the customers. The company has delivered over 14 million square feet of beautifully developed residential properties to the satisfied customers spread all over India and abroad. The company has a huge clientele from different walks of life, while the majority being from the blue chip companies like Infosys, Wipro, Satyam, HCL, HP, IBM, Intel, Cisco etc, to name a few. Needless to say that the quality, maintenance and post sales support of the projects developed by the company has attracted this very high profile customers to invest in their projects. Thousands of happy clients are a testament to the reputation the company has earned today.
Playing an active role in Karnataka Land Developers Association (KLDA) Sri. S. Jagadishwara Reddy, holding a post as Vice President of Karnataka Land Developers Association, has been instrumental in bringing in a lot of practicality in policy decisions relating to township development. The Association has been actively involved in the State Government's Bangalore Master Planning process in providing necessary inputs to the town planning agencies for scientific development of city suburbs.
